SOMEWHERE BETWEEN ARROGANCE AND HUMILITY lies a writer’s sweet spot. (For example, I need my editor to proof my use of lie vs lay.)
Writers must be original, free thinkers in order to create fresh, amazing novels. On the flip side, we also need to learn to plot, write realistic dialogue, create and grow characters, and occasionally, kill our darlings. And that’s before we get into the business of publishing and marketing.
How do we do both? The tasks seem diametrically opposed, but they are not mutually exclusive.
James Patterson to the rescue! I highly recommend his course. He takes you from creating characters through getting that book into readers’ hands.
I saw it on Facebook and checked it out – reasonably priced at $90, I felt it was well worth my time. I have much to learn and you can’t argue with his prolific success.
