NEWPORT BEACH BOOK FAIR was a blast! Books ranged from an ARVN fighter pilot’s first-hand account of the Vietnam war to Russian spy novels, wooly mammoth digs, and beautifully illustrated children’s books. A great time was had by all, including the swimming class behind us in the pool!
As a new writer, I’m discovering that book fairs are a not only a logical place to increase sales, but to meet and talk with other people who, like you, are locked in a dark room communing only with their computer most months of the year. To get out in the sunshine and share some time with other writers is a very good use of your time.
