When juggling your job, your writing, and your life, you learn to reduce clutter and focus your efforts. In the ever-evolving publishing world, marketing can be effective, or a black hole from which your time never returns! The old method of sending out Advanced Review Copies to magazines and newspapers is fast being supplemented and replaced by sharing your work with book bloggers, who often accept electronic copies vs the expense of mailing out print versions, which can add up fast. So – explore the book blogger world – I’ve met some really interesting, intelligent people who, like me, love books and will go the extra mile to promote new authors.
