What a great trip! Portland is one of my favorite cities, so why not set my second book in the Logan McKenna series there? I’m hard at work on Logan Book 2 – here are a few pics that inspired and informed. Big cities have so much to offer a writer. Human drama surrounds you – office workers scurrying by, a homeless man asleep in a doorway, noisy trash trucks rumbling down the street, street art, great museums, live music, and everyone lined up at ethnic food carts in a parking lot for lunch. Grounded in rugged history, Portland continues to surprise and delight.
